LEVEL 3 SENIOR REGISTERED YOGA TEACHER- AUSTRALIA.I have completed my Master of Physiotherapy (Orthopaedics- India ) and have worked with patients over a wide range of clinical settings, including children, communities and old person’s rehabilitation over an 13 year period. I am familiar with both neuro & cardio rehabilitation and specializes in orthopaedic rehabilitation. Apart from the above I is also a Value Educator - teaching personality development and communication skills in colleges.
I have had a keen interest in yoga since her college days and that passion subsequently led me to converge with Swami Vidyanand, the Founding father of Yoga Alliance International. In order to deepen my understanding of the subject I was trained as a GRAND MASTER in Transformational Hatha Yoga and Meditation, Pranayama and Yoga Therapy with over 1000 Hours of Teaching and is qualified, experienced and have successfully held Yoga & Meditation Training in 200 Hour Level Yoga Teacher Training, Yoga for Pre & Post Natal, Yoga for Children and Teenagers, Yoga Therapy and several other applications of Yoga with over in my tenure as Director of the Sri Ma International School of Transformational Yoga, Pondicherry Branch. I have been trained directly under Dinah Rodrigues, yoga therapist (an Integral Member of I.Y.T.A. and Honorary Member as consultant of the World Yoga Therapy Council of I.F.Y. – India) in Hormonal Yoga Therapy for Menopause in France –Aix En Provence.
I spend time both deepening my own practice and knowledge by continually trying to combine physiotherapy, knowledge of anatomy with the cultured art of Transformational Yoga & Hormonal Yoga Therapy to produce a holistic deep therapy which draws on an ancient tradition of exploring body, mind & soul combined with the biomechanics and physiology of medical science. My profound belief is that the combination of these arts will have intense therapeutic and rejuvenating effect on anyone who cares to practice this teaching
